El Capitan makes taking home your fresh catch simple.
We treat your fish with the highest quality care from the time it comes on board the boat until it’s packaged for your freezer, allowing you to enjoy it at home months later. Professional processing of your fish is included with every El Capitan trip and consists of cleaning your catch and cutting it into usable proportions then placing it in labeled 4mm bags which are vacuum packed and placed into our subzero walk-in freezer for a quick freeze to preserve freshness.
Salmon, halibut and rockfish are the primary fish we catch throughout the summer. Kings range from 20 to 70 pounds; Silver Salmon range from 8 to 20 pounds. Halibut come in all sizes averaging 25 to 40 pounds with some tipping the scales at over 200 pounds. Rockfish is a term used to describe a variety of delicious species including Black Sea Bass, Bocaccio and Lingcod, which can be over 55 pounds in our area.
